  • Introduction: Tara Najd Ahmadi, screening followed by a conversation between Azar Mahmoudian and Tara Najd Ahmadi

TAZEH NAFASHA by Kianoush Ayari was shot in Iran immediately after the Revolution and shows a rare picture of utopian freedom on the streets before the establishment of the Islamic Republic. Because the original sponsor at Iranian state television refused to release it, the film remained unfinished, and the footage was confiscated. It was later posted on the Internet after a friend of Ayari's happened to find a VHS copy at a flea market in Tehran. Tara Najd Ahmadi will present the film.
